A specific measure of distance to separate one from another.
Lifting you up in prayer this morning Champions! May your Thursday bring you contentment and joy in Christ Jesus!
Thinking about the many states that are slowly opening back up. It sounds so crazy to say an actual state "closed." Taking it one step further, we had a closed country.
Just a few short months ago, we would never have imagined what we have walked through to get us where we are today.
Landing on 6 feet apart this morning. I believe this will be a phrase forever etched in our minds. When we see another as we are out and about, will we automatically separate ourselves from them? Handshakes and hugs, are they a mere thing of the past? Will our circles become smaller? 6 feet apart, wow! I pray you take some time today to connect with our Creator. Don't get me wrong social distancing isn't a new idea by any means. Check out the book of lamentations. However, I do feel a great sadness, when I think about the word separate verses connect. I understand in my head that precautions are necessary for the safety and health of all of us. However, it still makes my heart feel crummy. Champions, through all of this, be sure not to separate from the power source. Stay connected to Jesus. There is a lot of unknowns as we take these next steps in trying to get back to what we once knew. Honestly, things will probably never be the same again. There will be differences, changed behaviors, different actions and requirements. Prayerfully we will reach a time where 6 feet apart is a distant memory.
Our faith is being tested daily. Together let's Rock the test!
Remembering...
He's got the Whole World in his hands!
Praying you through!
So be truly glad.[a] There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. 7 These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.
