A penny for your thoughts...

Simply a statement used when one is curious about what someone is thinking.

This morning Champions my heart was pricked by the thoughts that our children have, what is it that their impressionable minds think about on a daily basis?

The current state of affairs of our country, certainly has occupied my mind over the last 18 months. How has these same events impacted our little ones? Our youngest is 13 but we have grands much younger than her. Sure, we can ask them what they are thinking but are we truly listening? Are we able to hear what isn't being said with words?

I can only speak for myself here, but some days get pretty heavy from an adult perspective. I think they can get pretty heavy for our little ones as well.

The foundation of the family is more important now than ever. I think it's safe to say that the family is also under attack.

Praying together as a family and keeping Jesus alive in our homes is our responsibility to our children.

This world is messy. God is not. This world is ever changing. God is not. God is good and all good things come from him. He gave us precious rewards in the children he has blessed us with. Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world! I don't know about you, but I think we can all certainly start with just that one stanza from an old childhood Sunday School song and just grow from there.

Let's stand a post and join together in prayer and protect the foundation of the family! Let's train our children up in the way they should go!
