A thankful life

Acknowledgment of having received something good and to live in appreciation for it.

Sunday morning and Father's Day too. A great day to just be thankful. Like so many others my earthly father has went to be with the Lord. I rest assured in knowing we will meet again. My heart is thankful for the time we spent together on this planet. Each one of us have different unique situations of men in our lives that have been those father figures. I pray today for each of you and the many lessons that were learned from those that have came before us. I also understand that some of those lessons may have brought pain. Each one of us are on a journey and reaching a place of Thanksliving sometimes takes a little longer for some than others. The one thing that is the same for each one of us is this...Our Heavenly Father. He loves us and is there for us through it all. What ever your personal situation this Father's Day, I pray your heart is full of joy and your spirit is thankful because God is good everyday and in every way. Each day, choosing to live a thankful life! That's my prayer for each one of you this morning.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!
