Assumptions...

The acceptance of something as truth with no proof to support it.

This morning keeping it real and simple. Assumptions...I think it's safe to say we have all had them? I also think it's safe to say, assumptions are a slippery slope. We conjure up in our minds what we may believe to be factual about a certain situation or circumstance to find out after it's all said and done...that it was just an assumption. Taking it one step further, it wasn't even like we figured it to be. I've found over time the best defensive tactic to overcome assuming is effective communication. Ask the questions for clarity. Seek to understand, verses being right or making noise just to be heard. Pray over all things. Assumptions are a complete time waster and too often, joy suckers. I challenge you today as I am myself...let's not assume but pause to gain clarity and understanding. Time to rock this day!
