The quality or state of being dissimilar. To make a positive impact on the world we live in.
May grace and mercy abound in your hearts today Champions! May we extend grace and mercy as we expect to receive it!
In the stillness of the morning it is well with my soul. I thank God for the peace that surpasses all understanding. I thank him for his amazing grace! Being the difference in a fallen world. Yep, that's what was placed in my spirit this morning. I've placed entries in some form or fashion over this topic over the past year. This morning however, is very different. God, led me to the cross. He reminded me that sin is sin and that it doesn't have different degrees to be judged. He reminded me that his sacrifice was for all. He sat with me as I was processing what I already knew deep in my heart. He brought me to a place of understanding. For that I am thankful. You see, we want mercy and grace given to us but we don't want to always extend mercy and grace. This life is tough. There is so much ugly in this world.
There is also beauty. God can take something so broken and turn it into something so beautiful. We just need to let him.
Lean not on our own understanding...
I don't know about you but I battle with this one. We are called to love one another, even those that have wronged us. Yikes, isn't that a struggle in our strength? However, it can be done in God's strength. Making a difference, acting and reacting in a way that gives God the glory and tells the devil to kick the bricks! Champions join me in rising up this morning and being that difference. God's in control and sitting on the throne. I choose team Jesus!! How about you?
Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:8
