A strong feeling or emotion of a great amount that can cause stress or anxiety.

Praying for you and yours this morning Champions! May your Friday be full of those special moments that just make your heart smile!

As I'm sitting here in the stillness of the morning, thinking on the day ahead, I pause. My heart goes out to the ones that maybe just haven't been themselves lately. The pressure of life pushing down at a level that is possibly greater than it has ever been.

The feeling of " Being Overwhelmed!"

If this is something you're dealing with today please know that you're not alone. If you've had those days of being moody, irritable, stressed, lonely, and even isolated, you're not by yourself. Let's keep it real this morning, things are over the top extreme right now. It's ok. Our lives have been changed forever. We have words thrown at us like new normal, pandemic, face masks, zoom, home schooling, furlough, social distancing, quarantine, and the list goes on. Now, let's bring it back in. Those things aforementioned, if not kept in check can cause us to remain overwhelmed if we camp out there. Don't get me wrong, I believe we are all going to visit the emotional rollercoaster of being overwhelmed through the current state of events we are going through. However, don't remain on the ride for too long. Feel the emotion, identify it, then rest assured God will provide and get you through it. In our strength we can't, but in his we can! Champions, it is vital to your health and well being to have that quiet time in prayer and meditation. To take those little mini vacations throughout your day to just be. Most of us are trying to balance a family, finances, work, school, in a world that right now isn't balanced. Trust in the one who is balanced. Lean on him and not your own understanding. So when the waves of life seem overwhelming, let go and let God! One step at a time, we are in this together and you're not alone.

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Matthew 19:26
