With the newness of today, I pray for calm waters for you and yours Champions! May your day be full of peace.
This morning I am leaning towards a calm day full of peace and purpose. I thought a great way to begin, was with the time I have this morning with each of you...
Together, touching on calm waters. Let me ask you a question. Who is in your boat this morning? I pray the one who can calm the sea. As you and I embark on this new day given to us, there are choices to be made. I encourage you to begin with who you will have in your boat. You see the waves are going to come. The storms of life are inevitable. However, Jesus can speak and calm any storm. Things can be raging around us but we will find that calm regardless of the situation because God is in control. May your day be calm!
On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, “Let us go across to the other side.” And leaving the crowd, they took him with them in the boat, just as he was. And other boats were with him. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves were breaking into the boat, so that the boat was already filling. But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?” And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. ...
