Mindset- a collection of beliefs and thoughts that make up the mental attitude, inclination, habit or disposition that predetermines a person's interpretation and response to events, circumstances, and situations.
Join me this morning Champions in rolling out the red carpet for this absolutely beautiful Wednesday we have been given!
Going there this morning! Our mindset! We have discussed our thoughts in previous blogs and just how powerful they are. Our mindset, so to speak is the first cousin to our thoughts. The two are closely related.
We are in a time and place of one distraction after another. It seems there is constantly something that comes our way to derail us. Champions, mind management is key! We have all heard about time management and how important that is. My belief is mind management trumps that one over and over again.
Managing our mind isn't as difficult as we might think. The bible is the perfect instruction manual. Renewing our minds daily is paramount to managing them. Clearing out all of the crude that gets stored up in there and transforming our thoughts to line up with God's purpose for our lives. It would be so awesome if this was a one and done type of situation. But it isn't. It's a daily process, sometimes for me an hourly process. Can you relate? I encourage you to find the time each day to renew your mind. Champions, so goes your thoughts/ my thoughts, so goes our actions. If your looking for different results, it is going to require action. Be aware, be purposeful and be consistent! Thinking on things above and decluttering the nasty now and now!
Do not, speaking to myself first, be conformed to this world. We are called to be different. Overcoming, starts with our mindset! Let's give those we come in contact today a reason to say, " I don't know what they've got, but I want some of it!"
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good, acceptable, and perfect.
