Attached and receiving nutrients and the sustenance needed to grow and bear fruit.

The breaking of a new day brings us many possibilities, if we only have eyes to see them. Will you join me today Champions in staying connected and allowing God to work in and through us?

Standing in the kitchen this morning and looking out the window at what remains of the small but humble garden my husband and I planted this year...

I sighed.

I thought about how important it is for the fruit to remain connected to the vine to get the sustenance needed to grow. God is always providing those golden nuggets for us to learn in our every day lives. We just have to be open to the lesson.

Analogy time...to grow in Christ we must remain connected to him. Once we are pulled away from the vine, growth stops. The same as the plants in our garden. Jesus was an amazing teacher and I absolutely love the way he would tell stories, parables to make you think for yourself. Stay connected to the vine Champions! This world will try to pluck you off and leave you to the side to spoil. Absorb the nutrients! Receive the living water and then go and bear fruit yourself, all the while remaining connected to the vine!

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."

John 15:5
