Cracks allow the light to get in...

Imperfections of life, hardships, trials, tribulations, and mistakes that break us, then God enters into our spirit and brings forth light and beauty when we begin to live for him.

I had some time this week to do alot of thinking and reflecting. I was out of town for work and spent several hours driving. As I was pondering my thoughts and looking at the beautiful trees in all their splendor, I couldn't help but notice that some trees were bent. Yes, they were bent but still beautiful. I can remember a time in my life where I saw things that may have been bent or broken and my first inclination was to replace those things. However, I now see the beauty in the cracks. What I once saw as an imperfection, I now see as an opportunity. You see, when there is cracks, the light can shine through. So I encourage you to embrace those less than perfect things seen by the eye. I encourage you to appreciate the cracks and the beauty of the light. After all, God can turn ashes into something beautiful, we need to hold tight to that. Happiest of Fridays to you!
