Different

Not the same as another or each other; unlike in nature, form, or quality.

Tuesday morning is here. As we embrace the day together, let's be different in a world that needs to see more of Jesus living and working in each one of us.

When I opened my eyes this morning, I started with the word peculiar. I wasn't certain, at first, why that was laid on my heart. During my quiet time, God expanded my thoughts to being different. I love those moments of self reflection and transparency. Let me ask you the same question I asked myself this morning. If you were the only bible someone saw, what would they see? On the surface that question might typically be answered in many ways. However, under all the stuff, peeling back all the layers, is there enough evidence in a court of law to convict you/me for being a christian? Do we stand out or blend in? Here's something to think about, does our actions line up with God's word regardless of our life situations or what we are doing? I challenge you as I did myself to dig deep. What areas in your/ my life just might need some attention? We have enough carbon copies in this world we live in. Almighty God created each one of us to be unique. We are his masterpiece. We use words like honesty, integrity, accountability, committed. Question is, do we fully practice them? I'm going to keep it very real this morning for you and me. God knows.

We each have a job to do. A purpose that we have been given. Are we doing it, is the question? In each aspect of our lives are we doing our best, as if we are doing it unto him? You might have said ouch a few times during this post. I know I did. Today, I choose to be different! Will you join me?

For as in one body we have many members and the members do not all have the same function.
