Elude; to get away from a dangerous place or situation that isn't good for you.
Wednesday wellness and sweet inner peace being sent your way Champions!
This morning's topic is a one word focal point, with tons of meaning. " ESCAPE"
Let's take a look at it in a way you maybe haven't thought about before.
(Or maybe you have)
We can get ourselves into some pretty precarious situations. Then once we are there, we may feel like there is no way out of it. Then it snowballs into possibly making one wrong decision after another. Champions life is made up of daily choices, and we are the ones that determine the course we take. Will we make some bad choices along the way? I think it's safe to answer that question with a big Yep! However, God always provides a way of escape prior to us diving into something that isn't good for us, or in line with his will for our lives. Listening for his voice and direction is paramount. Let's face it, we know when we are in compromising positions that ultimately are going to lead to destruction for us.
The one thing that I would like to deliver and for you to receive from this morning's topic is this...
God always provides a means for escape prior to the actions that we take. You know, those actions or decisions that are going to be less than favorable or harmful to us? We only need to listen. So if you're in a situation that seems like there is no way out, go to God in prayer. Have that little talk with Jesus. Invest the time to just be still and listen for direction. God allows u-turns.
He will provide!
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
1 Corinthians 10:13
