To fail to meet expectations or requirements.
What an absolutely gorgeous Sunday morning! I believe this morning there was a tiny taste of fall approaching. Champions, make it a great day!
Falling down is our morning topic today. Is this a topic you can relate to? If not, peace be multiplied and keep striving! However, if this hits home with you as it does with me, let's just take a moment to touch on this thing called falling down. Falling down, when we are going through our life there will be times where we may fall down. The expectations we place on ourselves too often set us up to fall down. Honestly, sometimes we can give ourselves some pretty unrealistic expectations. Then when we fall short, we feel kind of crummy. Keeping it real, other times because of procrastination or lack of effort we fall down. ( I'm speaking for myself here in a big way) think back to when you were learning to ride a bike, when you fell off, what did you do? Precisely, you got back on and with determination and will power, you mastered the art of bike riding! Life is pretty much the same. We are going to lean one way or the other, lose our balance and fall off a time or two. The important piece is that we hop back on and commence to peddling. Champions, God's word provides all we need to get us back on track if we have fallen. I encourage you today to take a moment to open it up and spend a moment, you will be so glad you did!
So, falling down, whatever the situation or issue, don't beat yourself up any longer. Falling down is normal. Staying down is a choice. We can because through Him all things are possible. Have an incredible day!
Many are the afflictions of the righteous. But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
Psalm 34:19
