To go along with. To do what others are doing.
May your Friday be fierce and your spirit be full of God's might and power! Walk in boldness today Champions!
This morning during my quiet time and reflection, I landed on " following the crowd." I believe it was triggered by all of the current events that are going on around us today. Here's the thing each one of us are unique. We all bring something to the table. When we take our eyes off of God and place them on the world we slowly start to follow instead of leading. Our minds were created by God and need to be exercised. The ability to problem solve through critical thinking is a gift. Following the crowd stifles our creativity and ability to make good sound decisions. Jesus Christ taught through stories and parables to make us think. When you want to fact check what you are seeing in the world around us that everyone appears to be following, take it to God's word. What does the bible say about the situation? We are called to stand out and be different. We are not to blend in and just be another face in the crowd. Champions, make a decision today to lead from the front. Stand up and have courage. Take the path less traveled and leave a mark!
13 “Enter through the narrow gate.(A) For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Matthew 7: 13-14
