Pausing this morning on the word genuine.

I took some time this morning to give it some thought. Breaking it down as simplistically as possible...

The real deal, but not perfect by any means.

There is peace found when whatever and whomever we deal with is genuine. Reflecting back to my own life, I have come to realize that being genuine comes natural when you just let go and let God. On a daily, you will run into people that expect more out of you than they are willing to give themselves. The result could leave you with a hurting heart. Here's the thing, don't allow someone else's opinions or actions determine what God has placed inside you. Be yourself, do the best you can. Pray a lot! Do what you say you are going to do and trust God through the process. Hot tip, not everyone is going to give in return what they expect you to give, and that's ok. Be you! The real deal, but not perfect! Be your authentic self today! Much love for you!!!

You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.
