Givers

One who freely transfers the possession of something to someone.

Champions, may the day bring you many opportunities to be the giver.

Taking a moment this morning to think back on the times I've been blessed with the opportunity to be a giver. I can also remember being on the receiving end of someone that freely gave to me. The awesome part is being a giver doesn't always mean material items. Actually some of the best gifts I've been given were a listening ear, a friend who steps in the gap to pray for me when I needed them most, hugs from little hands and big ones. A smile, and at times even, space to think and reflect. For me understanding that in giving it is a gift in itself. I encourage you today to be the giver. After all didn't Jesus give us the ultimate gift? The cool piece, is when given in love, I can almost imagine a gentle wink from God himself. Be blessed Champions and have an over the top, Friday!
