Making a choice when the new day begins to see and embrace the positive in the period of time between midnight and noon.
Friday morning strength and endurance being sent to you this morning for a bright sonshiney kind of day!
As the day begins, and the sun makes it's grand entrance, we have a decision to make. Will we rise and shine? Or wake downtrodden and defeated? I think too often we forget to take a moment to give God praise for a brand-new day. Resulting in starting it off on the wrong foot.
Let me set the stage...we wake up late, rushed to get started and not a second to spare. We dive into a day we didn't prepare for and wonder why our mind isn't cooperating with the rest of our body. Possibly didn't get enough sleep the night before? Then we experience a carry over from yesterday and wonder why we frown or scowl at the new day.
Champions, each new day is a gift. A blank canvas waiting for the artist
( you & me ) to create a masterpiece. I challenge you today to get excited about the morning. Breath in the air of a new day. Watch the sunrise, take a moment to hear a bird sing. Our mindset determines the course of our morning. Will things happen to derail you? Maybe.
However, when you can't find a shoe or the Kids don't want eggs for breakfast, shake it off. You are alive and breathing and all the little craziness that is thrown into your morning, just gives it flavor.
Think about this, there is always something to be thankful and grateful for. Or would you rather camp out in what isn't so great? I choose thankful and grateful and pray you do as well. Now, go have a good morning!
Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.
Psalm 143:8
