Hang in there

To remain persistent and determined in difficult circumstances. Not giving up.

As we embark on a new day may your spirit be bright! Your steps purposeful and your heart be light. Today is a great day to have a great day!

This morning I was drawn to hanging in there. When things seem overwhelming and at times they do, cling to the Rock! With so much uncertainty and distractions all around us, we just might feel like the ostrich and want to bury our heads in the sand and say I'm done. Champions, that's not how we deal! We rise! We step up to the plate and swing for the fence! If you have felt downtrodden lately, today is the day you can turn it around. Not in our own strength but in God's. I pray for a day of completeness for you! As we go through daily opportunities because that's what they are. (Some we probably didn't have just a short time ago), I encourage you as I am myself to find the hidden lessons. To look deeply at what's before you/ me today. When we feel like throwing in that towel, to visualize God throwing it back and saying, "wipe your face child, I'm not finished yet" ! Hang in there and tackle today with appreciation, gratitude and confidence!

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.
