Healing through the brokenness

The process of making or becoming sound or healthy again.

When this morning's topic was given to me, I have to admit, I paused for a moment. I paused because this one is not one you can label with a time to accomplish. This one, is different for each person going through their brokenness, this one...

So, I thought about what is absolute. We are going to absolutely go through things that break us. Health issues, deaths of loved ones, broken relationships, loss of jobs, financial difficulties, to name a few. However, I also know from experience that our awesome Creator can turn brokenness into something beautiful. He can turn ashes into beauty.

Healing is a one day at a time, sometimes one moment at a time journey. Different for each one and unique to their specific situation. I can speak from my life experiences and say that in the toughest times, I have gained strength in God's word. Prayer is my go to. God listens, to all of it. God, is what sustains me and gets me through.

The best thing I can share with you is this, do not compare your personal brokenness with anyone else. Seek Godly guidance and hang tight to those special people God provides that are closer than a brother. You will start to see the pieces coming back together.

I will end this morning with a saying I heard, we are kinda like glow sticks, once we are broken the light inside us eventually shines. You will get that light back because it never left you. One day at a time!

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
