Modest without excess of pride. Wisdom seeking. Embracing your talents and abilities as gifts, and using them.
Happiest of mornings to you Champions! Today seems like a great day to have a great day!
Today is Labor day 2020. Wowsers, we have had a lot of things happen so far this year. 2020 had been a mixed bag of one thing after the next. I took a deep breath that ended with a tremendous sigh this morning just thinking about the year thus far. Funny how God always brings things full circle. The sigh brought on a question that resonated in my spirit from my Creator.
The question was this... What have you done with the gifts and abilities I have given you through this time?
I took a moment to just process that question from the very depths of my being. I can honestly say, I do strive each day to be the best God intended for me to be and to grow in him. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't always that way. I can remember when I would accomplish things that were in my strength, and just something about those things felt incomplete. Truth is, they were incomplete because they were missing the most important part." God!" Life becomes so much more fulfilling when God is the center! I've come to realize, he has given me everything I have and everything I need. He created me with unique gifts and abilities that are all mine. For that I am thankful. News flash... He created you with gifts and abilities that are all yours. So let's stay humbly connected to him and use our gifts and not let them lay dormant. Today sounds like the perfect place to start.
Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom.
James 3:13
