I'm fine...

When nothing is particularly wrong yet nothing is particularly right. A response to a feeling more times than enough, when one really doesn't want to experience that feeling or share it with those around them.

What treasures will we find today Champions? Look beyond the surface, there are many waiting for each one of us.

This morning I am feeling a bit somber. Over the past few weeks, when I've asked others how they are doing, the typical response is " I'm fine." Thinking back, I could have answered that very same way. It's amazing to me how God taps into those little compartments that need to be realigned. This year has been one rollercoaster ride of ups and downs. One day leads to the next and if we aren't careful, we could become almost robotic. Understanding that each person we encounter is dealing with their own challenges and the need for kindness is greater than it has ever been.The cool piece is regardless of the obstacle, God is big enough to handle all the I'm fines. The devil has been working overtime and it's time we say, " Not today satan!" He loves to play with our minds and trigger our thoughts. Today join me on making a conscious decision to think on things above. When the weight of this world becomes too heavy to carry, give it to God. When asked, how are you doing? Give it some thought, then answer honestly. Look deeper into the I'm fines and allow God to move in you and through you. We all are going through so much each day, and honestly, our entire country needs healing. Our homes need God's provision and protection. Will you join me today in focusing on the people we come in contact with and seeking to understand the meaning behind the response... I'm fine?
