A feeling of uncertainty. Lacking confidence in oneself that creates a level of anxiety.

Good morning Champions! May today bring you peace and purpose! May God's richest blessings be yours as you embrace the day ahead.

I absolutely love the stillness of the morning, that special quiet time with God. This morning as I am sitting and soaking in the moment, my mind takes me to insecurities. Possibly, world events could have triggered this morning's topic? Maybe, just quiet observations of what I see around me? None the less, that's what is on the table for today. I think it's safe to say we've all had feelings of insecurity before over one thing or another? So, where does that insecure feeling come from? Could it be past hurts, failures? Maybe worldviews that have been taught to us when we were young? Here's a biggie...rejection? Then there's trauma? Let's not forget that good old social media? Many things make up the recipe that could lead to those insecurities that we have or have had. What would you say if I told you, the devil loves to keep us bound in insecurities? Yep, he's a real master manipulator. However, God doesn't want us living with insecurities and we don't have to. God is our security blanket! What ever he brings us to, he will bring us through! We were created in the image of Almighty God! Champions, lean in....quit comparing yourself to what you think is truth on social media or anywhere else for that matter. Look in the mirror, that person looking back at you is pretty incredible. You are one of a kind and can do anything you set out to do. Allow God to accomplish his will in your life. Break those chains of bondage and insecurity. Rest in the arms of Jesus. Strive to be more like him and less like this world. Then, oh yes...then, the insecurities will begin to melt away like snow on a hot summer day! Have an over the top, God filled day!

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Phillipians 4:6-9
