It still has to be mowed...

An expression used to explain wanting what another has that is often brought on by appearance. However, all things require work, maintenance, and upkeep.
Fabulous Friday vibes being sent your way Champions! Go be incredible today!
A simple thing such as the lawn triggered a thought this morning and here we are...
The act of comparison and wanting what we visually see another has is what's on the table. With lawn maintenance in full swing, some yards are a bit more visually appealing than others. Bottom line...that grass still has to be mowed. So where am I going with this morning's topic? Simply, be grateful for what you have. Walk in a state of gratitude. That pretty much sums it up. When we stop looking and comparing what our neighbors have to what we have is the first step. Let's face it, we do it. I'm using the analogy of grass this morning but it comes in various forms. Bigger house, newer car, more stuff, more stuff, more stuff. Shucks we even compare spouses and children. If this doesn't apply to you, peace be multiplied and keep it moving. However, I think most of us can relate. Lean in...take care of what's yours. It really is that simple. Here's a thought, maybe if we quit looking on the outside and started investing on the inside we'd be a whole lot better off. Champions, God looks at the heart. I encourage you as you go about your day today to do it with an entirely different level of awareness, be grateful for the blessings hand picked specifically for you! It's a real eye opener!
But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor.
Galatians 6:4
