To just stop talking, simply to hush and allow your ears and inner being to truly hear.

Well, I'm just going to jump in with both feet this morning. Some might say, "shut up" just isn't a nice thing to say. However, it got your attention. We live in a time where everyone is practicing being politically correct or not offending anyone. Champions, that is precisely the noise that I'm speaking of. Just, "shut up." When we close our lips long enough to listen, we learn. Here's the thing, what you might hear doesn't necessarily come through verbal communication. We just have to allow our spirit to become quiet and still long enough to listen. We tune God out more times than enough because we are listening to the world. Find some quiet time today to focus on what God's telling you. God just might be waiting for you, for me, to get quiet just long enough to let him work. Let go of the distractions and you just might be amazed at what is revealed to you!
