A servant with the ability to direct oneself while influencing those around them. Role modeling expected behaviors, and leveraging the strengths of those you lead so everyone feels fulfilled and valued.

Positive thoughts being sent to you this morning Champions for a day that is complete and fulfilled.

One word came to mind as I was having my quiet time this morning...LEADERSHIP!

I'm certain it has different meanings for many of us but I tried to capture the true essence in the aforementioned definition. Leaders serve. Leaders demonstrate behaviors that others follow. True Leaders are able to accomplish things through others because they are respected and genuine in their actions. Leadership is a huge responsibility. When you lead, others depend on you. Having a servants heart and lining up your talents and abilities that God has given you to help and support others. Champions, we all have leadership roles in our lives in some form or fashion. The question is, how are we leading? One step further, who are we choosing to follow when we aren't leading?

Leaving you with a quote that stuck with me from some time ago...

Anybody can be a good Captain in calm waters.

The one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.

Romans 12:8
