Life has no remote

Success doesn't just arrive by happenstance. Consistently putting in the work to achieve the results and holding oneself accountable for the action steps to get there.

As I am beginning my day, "life" is where my thoughts take me. Actually, one step further...LIFE has no remote. Reflecting on this for a moment. What ever we do, requires action on our part to bring it to fruition. We cannot push a button and magically make something happen. We have to put the work in. It starts with that word that most shy away from, accountability. We can't push pause, rewind, or fast forward. This is our life, the real deal. No remotes. Speaking for myself here, I don't want to miss a single moment and I want to be an active participant in my story. Today, I encourage you as I am myself to put in the work. To take the necessary steps to achieve the results you are seeking. No remotes, no button pushing, but digging in and getting it done! Everything we do, doing it as if we are doing it for the Lord! Rock your day!

For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
