Like a Boomerang

What you give out in words or deeds is what will be returned to you.
Champions the Son is shining bright this morning. Praying for your day and all that it entails. May your echo be beautiful!
Taking things a little slower this morning. Intrigued by the sound of an echo. What we actually put out, in what ever capacity eventually finds it's way back to us. This was huge for me this morning and I pray it resonates with you as well. We walk through this world once. That little line between the day we are born and the day we exit this world is but a vapor. How do we spend that time? What do we do with it? Do we think about how our words and actions truly affect others? Wowsers, I've been asking myself these same questions this morning. I can't speak for you but I want to make a difference. I want to be used by God to show others that there is something more, after the dash. My prayer is that you want that to. Digging a bit deeper, I want to see less of me and more of the one living in me.
The boomerang... again comes down to choice, it can be a positive or negative experience. Here's the thing, it starts with personal accountability. Time to put on our big girl and big boy pants and quit making excuses for why we do what we do. To quit saying, this one or that one Made me do it. Time to rise up and be different. Time, not to let someone or something get into our spirit so much that it makes us react in a way that we will regret it later. If you continuously deal with someone that demonstrates negative patterns that spill over into your life, look very closely at why you allow it. Certainly, we can't change them but we can change how we receive and deliver our interactions with them. Oh how life is a constant classroom, be sure to open your textbook ( The Bible) All the answers both you and I need are in there.
As I'm closing this post this morning, I'll leave you with this. Think before you speak and act. You have the power to make good decisions, use that power. I have nothing but love for each one of you and together, one step at a time, following Jesus Christ, we can!
Don’t pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults—unless, of course, you want the same treatment. Don’t condemn those who are down; that hardness can boomerang. Be easy on people; you’ll find life a lot easier. Give away your life; you’ll find life given back, but not merely given back—given back with bonus and blessing. Giving, not getting, is the way. Generosity begets generosity.” (message )
