Love " more than the warm fuzzies "

Happy Friday Champions! Today is the day most celebrate " Love " one day out of the year designated for the one you love. Interesting concept. I thought love would be the perfect topic for today. I might come at this from a different angle than you are familiar with. Love, is so much more than that warm fuzzy feeling or a physical attraction to someone. Love is lacing up your boot strings being in the trenches (so to speak). Love is action! Crazy thing is, love isn't self seeking but when you practice it consistently and with your whole heart, you are the one who truly gets the reward. Lean in, the one sure way to know how to love, is to know God, because he is love. Do not be misled or confused by the misinterpretation of love that we see on a daily. I encourage you to check out John 3:16 today. Also, don't forget 3:17, it's the best! So yes Champions, love is a verb and so much more than chocolates and flowers. Love is action! So go love up on somebody today, even the ones that may not love you back. OUCH!

So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
