Nonsense

Spoken or written words that have no meaning or make no sense. Foolish or unacceptable behavior.
Once again the sun came up this morning. Can we just take a moment and thank God for that Champions?
This morning, I'm keeping it real. I have a heaviness in my spirit that only God himself can lift. Being totally transparent, the nonsense needs to stop. We have been introduced to so many new phrases and words this year.
Most, we never really used or even heard before this year...socially distant, shelter in place, abundance of caution, coup, breached, Big Tech, platform, jeeze the list goes on and on. When do we say enough? We have allowed outside forces to infiltrate our homes through those big black boxes hanging on our walls and those electronic devices attached to our palms. On the aforementioned, Rant over.
So let's look at some solutions to stop the nonsense...
God first! Yes, he has to be number one. Hitting our knees in prayer. Not self seeking or self serving prayer but humbly and gratefully entering his courts with thanksgiving and praise. Lean in...if your going to pray it, believe it. If you don't believe it, it's just lip service. Put your faith and trust in our Creator and quit the nonsense. God hasn't changed and if we, his people called by his name will humble ourselves and pray? He will! He will! He will!
So shut off the TV, turn off the cellphone and the computer. Take a walk, have a conversation at the dinner table tonight. Read the bible together as a family. Stopping the nonsense starts with each one of us! Dropping the 🎤
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12:12
