Old way...

The path once walked prior to Christ. Comprehending who we once were compared to who we currently are.

My quiet time this morning brought me to that vision of the fork in the road. You know, the one where you either change or remain the same? I truly believe as long as there is breath in our bodies and a bible to dig into, change occurs and is a daily process. What a wonderful gift we are given the day we accept Jesus into our hearts. The old is gone and the new has arrived. The outward sign of an inward happening. Our want tos change and our heart is full. Trouble is, old slew foot continues to try to confuse us and get us to revert backwards. He comes after God's children hard. Be ready and take courage. In our strength we can't fight those fiery darts when he throws them...But in God's strength we can. When you feel you are at a fork in the road and contemplating your old way or change, choose Team Jesus! He will provide you direction, peace, and clarity. Never said it would be easy, however...fun fact, we don't have to walk it alone.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
