Overcomer... I had the privilege to spend labor day afternoon at the theater with my husband and daughter. We went to see the movie Overcomer. There was a question in the movie that was asked that resonated to my very soul. The question simply was, who are you? One might think this is a pretty easy question to answer, right? However, when you peel back the layers and dig through past life experiences, who are you? Do you/I allow our past to hold us hostage to being all we were truly created to be? Past mistakes, failures, maybe even some situations that we had limited control over or no control over but have left us feeling empty, unworthy, subpar? Champions, those things are lies that the enemy uses to keep us in bondage. We were created in the image of the most high God! There is nothing that He can't forgive. The problem is we don't forgive ourselves. Sadly, we might be harboring unforgiveness for someone who hurt us along the way. For our Father in heaven to forgive us, we to must forgive others. Holding on to the bitterness, the hurt, the anger isn't healthy Champions! There is power in healing! What ever the giant is you may be facing or that you have tucked away that you may be avoiding, make a choice today to be an overcomer. You are strong, you are mighty, you are royalty. Your Father is the King of kings! Lay it at His feet and watch how incredible your life can and will be!

For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world and this is the victory that has overcome the world- our faith. Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
