To put too much time into thinking about or analyzing something in a way that can do more harm than good.

Champions! Oh happy day! It's Thursday, we are alive and breathing! So many opportunities await. Let's consciously decide in this very moment, not to let ourselves get in the way today. Are you with me?

Overthinking, just getting right to it this morning. I am going to be very transparent here, I think if there was an award for overthinking, I'd certainly be a contender! Is overthinking, one of your areas that you would like to change? It's like my heart knows better but my head gets me into this what if mode! Here's the thing, we can take something pretty minimal and turn it into something extreme in our mind. Worry, anxiety, fear, doubt. All byproducts of overthinking. Playing the situation out in our mind like a bad movie. Let me be very frank, when we worry about what someone else thinks of us, when we are consumed by the what ifs...I'm not good enough, smart enough, pretty/handsome enough? Oh the list goes on and on. That's when we have entered into a very non productive place. I've said it many times ( someone else's opinion of you/ of me is none of our business) the important piece is, what God knows not thinks about each one of us. He's not looking for perfection. His word clearly states, there is none perfect no not one! Jesus is the only sinless one. So why do we fall into the trap of letting our minds run rampant with things that most likely will never come to fruition? Take a peek at 1Peter 5:8. The great deceiver wants us to worry about the what ifs because it keeps us in a state of confusion. God is a God of order. We were created in His image. The devil knows our past and can use that and does to create self doubt, if we let him. God knows our future and the plans He has for us is great! One more nugget, God is omnipresent the devil is not. So, the next time old slu foot tries to throw the distraction of overthinking your way/ my way, let God catch it. We can do all things through Him! Fix your thoughts on things above and go out there and be crazy amazing today!

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.

Philippians 4:6

It's me guys. Life has been very busy of late and it's been a minute since I've shared. As I sit here and just breath. It's the day...
