Perfection not required...

No stipulations needed nor expectations placed on another to be flawless, without blemish or defect.

Waking with a thankful heart and clear mind this morning. Grateful for another day! Happy Thursday Champions!

Stepping back this morning and breathing in the completeness of the one that gave me another day! Thankful that he doesn't expect perfection from me or you. He just wants us to love him. He wants a relationship with us. Fun fact, when we rush around trying to make everything perfect, we miss the message. The bible tells us that there is none perfect, no not one. Jesus, is the only one without blemish. He gave the ultimate gift for each one of us while we were yet sinners. Let's leave it there. He knew we weren't perfect. Actually, if we're honest we are very far from perfect. However, that's ok. When we allow Christ into our hearts and strive to be like him, things just start to make sense. This world paints a false picture of what perfect looks like. When we understand that and look to the one that is perfect, our life takes on a whole new meaning. So today, don't strive to be perfect. Strive to be amazing! With his amazing grace, that's achievable!

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
