Power Of The Pause

A brief interruption of action or speech, an intermission.

Champions, as summer waves goodbye and autumn says hello, will you join me today in embracing the power of the pause?

Power of the pause... in our busy day to day craziness, sometimes tremendous power is gained if we just pause for a moment. This is a time of year when we typically regain structure and a more solid routine. Some are getting kids ready to return to school and some just have a tendency to embrace the season changing and go with the flow. As I was pondering and reflecting this morning, I took a moment to lift my head and connect with the one who controls the seasons. For me, I can get so caught up in being a human doer that I can forget that I was created to be a human being. ( the state of just being) Time goes by so quickly and if we don't take those moments to practice the pause, we just might miss the blessing. I encourage you to read the story of Mary and Martha in the bible. There is a lesson in that story that is truly profound.

To hear that still small voice, we need to also be still. May your day be filled with blessings beyond your comprehension! Breathe today!
