An adornment, often in many colors used to decorate.
May your Tuesday be full of intricate treasures as you look past the outer wrapping Champions!
Soaking in the morning and the beautiful colors the season brings. The presents wrapped in different paper with the colorful ribbons and bows. I paused and thought, oh how there is so much more, than the outer adornments. The ribbons and bows, though beautiful are not the "heart" of the present. I thought back to that first silent night, the baby wrapped in swaddling clothes. Yes, the ultimate Christmas gift! With a full heart, I had to pause and just thank God.
Fast forwarding to today, we exchange gifts to represent the love we have for one another. Or do we? I really gave this some thought. I believe that what comes from our hearts is the greatest gift we could possibly give. At a time of year when our spirit might just be a little more in tune with our Heavenly Father, I think it's safe to say...that the ribbons and bows can't hold a candle to the love exchanged from the heart. This year might be a bit different. 2020 has been one challenge after another. However, we can always find the perfect gift in our heart to give another. So if money is tight or possibly non existent this year, just look inside and God will provide the answer to the best gift we could ever give, from the heart! May your Christmas be so much more than what is found in a store, wrapped in ribbons and bows. Sending you a sweet Christmas whisper this morning Champions 🎀
Not by the way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.
