Deliberately seeking to influence others by showing unconditional love. Illuminating and making visible.

Wednesday has arrived and has come to say hello Champions! What will we do deliberately today to show we are both salt and light to a world that needs flavor and illumination?

Today's topic is one that I absolutely love.

Salt and light...

Have you ever truly considered the influence you have on others? Your daily walk, my daily walk? The way we respond when things might not be going exactly the way we want them to? Or maybe, the way we embrace others? Do you, do I, add flavor or not? Do you, do I, provide light... or do we put it under a basket? When things get tough for us, do we respond in our strength, or in our Creator's strength?

Being salt and light isn't an option when Christ resides in you. It is a command. Jesus said, we are the salt and light. Question is, are we practicing it? Each one of us has the ability to influence others in a positive or negative way. So when things get tuff it isn't a free pass to act anyway we choose but it is the time to rise even higher and be that salt! To be that light!

Our situations and circumstances can be very trying but when others see us unwavering through them and something different in us, that is the perfect segway to introduce them to the reason we shine! Not who we are Champions but who the one who gave everything for us is!

Be the salt! Be the light!

" you are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet." You are the light of the world." A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Matthew 5: 13-16

It's me guys. Life has been very busy of late and it's been a minute since I've shared. As I sit here and just breath. It's the day...
