Solid and robust in construction, able to withstand a storm.

Sunday morning strength and encouragement being sent to you Champions!

This morning we'll just jump in. " Strong Roots!" There is so much that can be learned from a tree. Let's face it, the storms of life are inevitable. The rain, the wind is going to come. That's why strong roots are so important. Here's the thing, we can't wait until the winds come to become grounded and sturdy. Being rooted in God's word and prayed up and full during the calm season prepares us for when those storms come. Trimming branches that suck the life and nourishment out of you, is a necessity. Proper nourishment and sonshine are another important factor in growing deep roots. Furthermore, those deep roots help when others need to use your canopy to help them when their tree might be a bit weak or withered. We all go through storms in life at different times. Work on those roots. They will stabilize you to stand tall, thriving and robust, until the storm passes.

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”

Jeremiah 17: 7-8
