This morning, I stand in amazement at God's provision for my life. I thank him for this morning's topic and praise him because he is so good!

That old tire swing...

Did you ever have the opportunity to sit for a spell and swing in an old tire swing? Thinking back to my younger self, I spent a considerable amount of time in one of those old tire swings. I remember day dreaming, thinking, the wind blowing my hair. I remember the feeling of peace and solitude that everything was right at that moment in time. Looking back it seemed that just for a moment God was there behind me pushing me and letting me know everything was going to be ok. This world is spinning out of control. Love, trust, loyalty, relationships, neighbors, are these things a distant memory? I hold tight to the one thing that is consistent and has never changed. That is God, I thank him for the time we spent on that old tire swing. All the material things of this world will pass away. Those special moments that are embedded in our hearts will last forever! Take time today to exhale what this world has to offer and inhale the peace that only God can provide!
