Things you can't control

Situations or circumstances beyond your scope of mending, fixing, or changing.

A brand new Sunday morning has been given to us Champions! I encourage you to take a moment today to just be. What ever you are feeling or what ever you are dealing with, stop for just a moment and just be. After all, we are human beings not human doers! Take time to breath.

Here we go. I'm going to begin with a very transparent confession. I have a very hard time with things that are beyond my control. I am a planner and an organizer. I am that list making, check it off and keep it moving type of person. I am a fixer and problem solver by nature. Can anyone relate? All of that brings me to this...

What we are currently going through as a nation is beyond all of our control. During my quiet time this morning, what was given to me was pretty simple. When it's beyond your control, breathe. You may not be able to control or change it, but you can control how you respond and react to it. You can prepare in the areas were you are able. You can remain level headed and calm through the fire. To bring it all together in a pretty red bow, let go and give it to God! He has provided before and is providing now. Today is what we have been given and has enough for our finite minds to comprehend. Let's lean on our Creator and Sustainer and trust him to see us through. I pray for abundant blessings, and peace overflowing for you and yours as you go about the gift that has been given, called today!

"Therefore, don't worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

Matthew 6:34
