The handing down from generation to generation information, beliefs, and customs.
Merriest of Christmas Eves to you and yours Champions! Breathe in the excitement and anticipation as we prepare as if tonight was the night. Yes, that Silent, Holy night! Hallelujah!
My heart is full of merriment and thanksgiving. This morning I reflect on the traditions that was passed on to me from my mother and father. I remember my childhood and how Jesus was the reason for the season. I loved listening to Christmas music from my father's vinyl collection. So much laughter, popcorn, homemade hot chocolate with the real brown can of hersheys. I remember the many sweet church services attended over many Christmas pasts.
Santa Clause was part of our childhood but he was never placed before Jesus. As Years passed, my siblings and I learned one by one that Jolly Old Saint Nicholas was just a man, a good man. However, he didn't bring us our gifts on a sleigh and travel around the world in one night.
I loved riding around looking at all the beautiful lights and the manger scenes had a sweetness that still warms my heart today.
So, Breathe it all in. The breathe of heaven came down on that Silent Holy Night.
We have a responsibility to tell the good news. A great place to start, is in our own homes. No better time to start than the present.
Champions, create some memorable traditions and enjoy the greatest gift ever given
( Jesus)!
The most important story ever told!
But test everything; hold fast what is good.
1 Thessalonians 5:21
