This morning during my quiet time, once again the outside noise, the clamor of worldly events is attempting to take center stage. I had to ask myself, why? As you all know the gas situation is the most recent issue at hand. Through social media you hear a lot of noise and opinions. Taking it full circle, I just paused this morning and asked God for peace. That brought me to understanding the noise makers. You see people react when they are uncertain or anxious. I think it's safe to say we've all been there. The current events going on around us is just one example of the aforementioned.

On a personal note, digging a little deeper... the lack of self confidence is more times than enough, the reason you will hear the noise. I've come to realize that sometimes, people that have insecurities act out to cover what's really the underlying issue. This is where our faith and our trust is put into action. Who do we really trust and do we believe all things are possible with God? Keeping it real and simple...Insecurities and anxiety are not from God. They are a distraction that is brought on by old SLU FOOT himself. God provides a peace that surpasses all understanding. He has promises after promises that he gives us in his word. When the chatter starts clanging and the insecurities around you are working double time, stop! Redirect your vision and just call on the name of Jesus. Walk today with understanding Champions. Be the light in a world that needs Warriors!
