To focus on changing or correcting oneself instead of focusing on correcting or changing others.
May you have a day of transparency and personal reflection. Be blessed and be different!
This morning's topic actually resonated from all the calamity and finger pointing we are currently seeing around us. Being totally transparent, I've gotten caught up in some of that a time or two myself. Sometimes, you just have to shut off the news and outside vehicles to be able to hear that still small voice that is there to guide and direct you. Keeping it real, the only person you or me can change, is ourselves. The interesting piece is, If each one of us invests the time and works on ourselves, we will see things much clearer. Will you join me today in the journey of self reflection and change? Together we can make a difference!
3"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
Matthew 7: 3-5
