Feeble or insipid in quality or character. Lacking strength or boldness. Uncertain, indecisive and wavering.
Friday has arrived with endless opportunities and purpose. May your feet be firmly planted today in all the decisions that guide and direct your steps.
Going into this morning's topic, I had to pause for a brief moment and must confess, I thought...Wishy Washy? Then I made the decision to press forward because that was what was given to my spirit. So here goes. In this life we have to make decisions daily. Some carry a much higher level of understanding and weight, and some simple...
Such as, what's for dinner?
Keeping it very real this morning Champions, some decisions should not be moved. When we go back and forth with what we believe and our moral conviction we become ineffective. Our character becomes watered down or diluted. Weather we want to admit it or not, our life is a testimony to someone that is watching from a distance. The decisions that we make each day affect others. I would be amiss if I didn't state, the most important decision one will ever make is to accept Jesus into their heart. The bible clearly says, we are either for him or against him. Champions, there is no in between. Serving Christ is an honor. When we are sold out for him, things change. A boldness and strength surface like you've never experienced before because you are no longer living in your strength but his. Make no mistake, playing a Christian isn't the answer. Let me explain, choosing today, yep I'm going to do that God thing and then tomorrow, I'm going to do my thing. Champions this is a 24/ 7 all in thing. Will we falter? Certainly. However, God knows our hearts and with him, he will pick us up, brush us off and help us to get back on track. So let's keep it real, wishy washy should not be an attribute of a warrior for Christ! Rise up and take courage, he will provide you with what you need! Question is, are you relying on him or man? Dropping the mic...
My child, never forget the things I have taught you. Store my commands in your heart. If you do this, you will live many years, and your life will be satisfying. Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.
