Your happy place...

A place that calms you. Clears your mind and makes it smile. A place that is good for your spiritual, mental, and physical health.

This morning I spent a little time reflecting over this past weekend. We took a mini hiatus to the beach to celebrate the birthday of our littlest.

During my quiet time with God, my heart was full and overflowing. As I thought about the sound of the waves, the salt in the air, the beauty of the water meeting the clouds for miles...

Champions, his creation!

As I walked down the beach, I can remember thinking...this is my happy place. Strange thing is, this morning, I was humbled when I realized that...my happy place isn't really a place at all. Stay with me... my happy place is where ever and whenever my soul is connected to my Creator and Sustainer! You see, he brings a joy beyond anything this world can give. He provides a peace in the middle of turbulent water. His comfort is like being wrapped in your favorite blanket on a cold winter's day.

Champions, just maybe that happy place is inside each one of us when we connect our hearts to His?
